UTAR alumni trip: Making memories

More than 30 participants including staff and alumni participated in the Alumni Local Social Trip 2019 from 28 September to 30 September 2019 at Mersing Beach Resort, Johor.

The three-day trip was arranged by the Department of Alumni Relations and Placement with the hope to bring alumni and staff together and forge closer ties among each other as well as to build network for future ventures.

The trip featured various activities such as boat riding, hiking, snorkelling, water sports and island hopping. Throughout the trip, participants visited several islands known as Pulau Sibu Kukus, Pulau Lima Depan, Pulau Lima Belakang, Pulau Mentinggi and Pulau Tinggi.

Upon arrival on the first day at Mersing Beach Resort, participants spent their time leisurely at the resort before having barbeque dinner. The next day, they were brought to Sibu Kukus Island for hiking and snorkelling several island before having tea at Shaz Resort Tinggi.
