Winning best paper award at IEEE CSUDET

UTAR Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES) lecturer Ir Dr Lim Boon Han and his master’s student Keen Yip Lai won the Best Paper Award at the 6th IEEE Conference on Sustainable Utilisation and Development in Engineering and Technology (IEEE CSUDET2019). The award-winning paper was titled “Comparative Study for Time-specific Ross Coefficient and overall Ross Coefficient for Estimation of Photovoltaic Module Temperature”.

The event was held at Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa of Shangri-la, Penang from 7 to 9 November 2019. It was co-organised by IEEE Multimedia University (MMU) Student Branch, IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Malaysia Chapter (IEEE SMC), Malaysia CIE (MyCIE), Multimedia University Research Institute for Digital Enterprise (RIDE) and the Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM).

The IEEE CSUDET 2019 aimed to provide researchers and students from all around the world a channel to present their research projects and to be recognised for their professional and technical achievements by the industry and IEEE. IEEE CSUDET commits to serve as an international forum that brings together those who are actively involved in areas of interest to report on the latest innovations and developments, to summarise the state-of-the-art and to exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of sustainability and technology.
