The creative idea was inspired by the strokes of Chinese characters that were shaped into an illustration. Adopting a similar concept, Gan came out with the design using the theme of the Lions Club of Kajang.

Also present to celebrate the students were 2019-2020 Lions Club of Kajang President Victor Lim, Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI) Dean Dr David Tneh Cheng Eng, FCI Deputy Dean for Student Development and Industrial Training Lee Lih Su, FCI Head of Department of Multimedia Design and Animation Dr Yuen May Chan, Lions Club of Kajang Treasurer Simon Tan, Lions Club of Kajang Secretary Aum Lum, FCI lecturer Mohamad Azri bin Haji Ahmad, Lions Club of Kajang Treasurer Membership Director Yap Voon Fun, Lions Club of Kajang Treasurer Member Malcolm Lim, staff and students.

“We always encourage our students not only to attend to studies in the classrooms but also participate in activities and competitions. I would like to congratulate the winners for their achievement. Their creativity is now immortalised in the pin design,” said Dr Tneh in his welcome remarks. He also thanked the Lions Club of Kajang for the opportunity given to the students to unleash their talent and creativity.

“Born in 2017, the Lions Club of Kajang had always looked for a symbol to represent the club. After looking at the designs, I had a tough decision to make as the designs were as good as professional and commercial designers. Upon choosing the design, we have decided to use it as the symbol to represent the Lions Club of Kajang and we would carry it when we attend conventions, seminars, and also international trips,” said Lim.

Lim also shared his thoughts on every winning design, reflecting his intricate take on every design
