With energetic performance and competitive spirit, UTAR students fought their way and brought home seven gold and two bronze medals from Kuala Lumpur Wushu Championship 2019. The traditional Chinese martial art competition was held at Stadium Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur on 11 and 12 May 2019. The championship saw participants from primary school, secondary school, varsities as well as the public. Participants representing UTAR showed an applaudable achievement.
“The players gave their best performance. This competition came in fruitful because it helped to improve their physical, technical and tactical skills for tournaments in the future,” said Department of Student Affairs Assistant Manager Ganavenoth Karunakaran.
