MOE incentive for Wushu achievements in 19th ASEAN University Games

UTAR student Chan Lu Yi’s achievements were recognised at the Majlis Penyerahan Insentif Kecemerlangan Sukan Atlet IPT 2019 held at the Ministry of Education (MOE), Putrajaya on 18 December 2019.

The medical undergraduate (MBBS) student is part of the national Wushu team who competed in 19th ASEAN University Games 2018. She managed to bag two silver medals for Malaysia in ‘Taijijian’ and ‘TaijiQuan’ categories respectively. Overall, the Wushu team received a total incentive of RM14,500.

Majlis Penyerahan Insentif Kecemerlangan Sukan Atlet IPT 2019 was a ceremony held by MOE to celebrate outstanding achievements by 218 medal achievers competing in international championships, namely 2019 Summer Universiade, 2018 World University Championship (FISU) in Macau, China and 19th ASEAN University Games 2018 held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.
