UTAR Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) students Oh Jia Sheng, Leong Wai Chun and Ng Jing Ying won second place at the TAR UC Capture-the-Flag Competition 2021, held on 17 November 2021 via Google Meet.

The winning team, named White Hat Pioneer walked away with a cash prize worth RM900. The team was coached by FICT Department of Computer and Communication Technology academics Dr Aun Yichiet and Ts Dr Gan Ming Lee.

The team secured second place after competing against 55 teams and 181 players.

The inaugural TAR UC Capture-the-Flag Competition 2021 was organised by Tunku Abdul Rahman University College’s (TAR UC) Computer Science Society.
