RoboCup@Home Education League is an educational competition platform that cultivates beginner teams for RoboCup@Home challenges while RoboCup@Home Simulation League (DSPL) is a competition that examines how well robots can perform tasks helpfully and live with humans in a home environment, such as a living room or kitchen, assuming that robots are used in daily life.

Ir Dr Danny Ng Wee Kiat said, “This is the first time our students have participated in the non-beginner league, Robocup@Home Simulation League (DSPL). It is a good experience for the students.  They were able to compete with other major league teams that participated in DSPL.”

The league was jointly organised by RoboCup Asia-Pacific Confederation, RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2021 Aichi Organising Committee and The Chunichi Shimbun Company; supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation.
