UTAR President Prof Ewe is New AAET President

In a letter issued by the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) on 27 June 2022, it was announced that UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat has been elected as the new President of AAET for the 2-year term 2022/2024.

At the AAET 17th AGM held on 11 June 2022 via Zoom, the new Council members for the term 2022/2024 were elected. The immediate past President of AAET was Academician Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Ir Dr Chuah Hean Teik who was also the previous President of UTAR for 11 years until his retirement in 2019.

UTAR congratulates Prof Ewe Hong Tat on being elected as the AAET new President.
