Lim Boon Han was awarded the 2023 Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)
President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI).
The Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) President’s International Fellowship
Initiative (PIFI) is a specific funding programme that attracts talented
foreigners to CAS for scientific exchanges and research cooperation. It is
open to scientific research personnel from around the globe.
The fellowship provides a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, health
insurance in China, and economy-class round-trip international travel.
With this fellowship, Assoc Prof Lim will work at Shenzhen Institute of
Advanced Technology (SIAT) as a visiting scholar to carry out cooperative
projects for more than one month annually for two years. He felt grateful to
be able to earn the fellowship and expressed his thanks to LKC FES Ir Prof
Dr Yow Ho Kwang for linking him to the collaboration.
