UTAR students exceed ACCA Global Pass rate

Over 30 UTAR Accounting students from both Sungai Long and Kampar Campuses have succeeded in exceeding the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Global Pass Rate in the ACCA December 2021 examination.

The examination for students of UTAR Sungai Long Campus comprised three modules, namely Strategic Business Leader (SBL), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) and Advanced Taxation (ATX). The students from UTAR Sungai Long managed to obtain 58% in the Strategic Business Leader, achieving the Global pass rate of 51%. They scored 50% for both Strategic Business Reporting and Advanced Taxation, which achieved the Global pass rate of 48% and 29% respectively.

The examination for students of UTAR Kampar Campus, on the other hand, consisted of two modules, namely Strategic Business Leader (SBL) and Advanced Taxation (ATX). The students scored 80% for Strategic Business Leader which achieved the Global pass rate of 51% and they gained 62% in Advanced Taxation with the Global pass rate of 29%.

UTAR Sungai Long Campus is an ACCA Gold Approved Learning Partner (ALP). It was awarded the ACCA Gold Approval under the Approved Learning Partner (ALP) Programme in June 2016 in recognition of the quality of the learning provision and support for ACCA students.

UTAR Centre for Corporate and Community Development (CCCD) is a quality provider for ACCA professional qualification programmes such as the ACCA Preparatory Course to meet the learning needs of the university students.
