Wive-Wave, connected by a single rope, elegantly entwines two diabolos to create an inclusive atmosphere blending adventure and tranquillity. The swing imparts movement, and the rocking chair maintains balance, mirroring the diabolo trick. At its core, a playful spinning structure with coloured layers, twirls joyfully in sunlight. The diabolos struggle, tangled in a twisted rope, battles for equilibrium within the central axis. Additionally, Wive-Wave features a bamboo component, producing rhythmic sounds that tell ancient stories, celebrating resilience and creativity. The bamboo’s surface patterns reflect the diabolo’s scars, symbolising the spirit of overcoming challenges. Framed by bamboo, Nansha Bird Park’s scenery harmoniously connects people with nature, capturing beauty during swing play.

The team said, “We joined this competition because we took part in it in 2022. Last time, due to our lack of experience, we didn’t achieve good results. This time, having learned from that experience and with everyone’s efforts, we completed the competition successfully and achieved good results. While the results are important, we also value the time spent learning from each other. We notice that the competition’s content is becoming more advanced. It’s not just about skills; creativity is crucial now. We believe in breaking away from traditional thinking and using innovative ideas for creative designs, which will benefit our future.”

Furthermore, Team 5002 – Spirit of Joy and Team 5001 – Lotus Reverie from UTAR secured 1st Runner-up at the competition.
