UTAR Table Tennis Invitational Championship (UTTIC) 2023

The UTAR Table Tennis Invitational Championship (UTTIC) 2023, the first table tennis competition held at the Open Secondary level and all Public and Private institutions of higher learning (IPTA & IPTS) level, took place at UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 16 and 17 September 2023. The competition was organised by the Department of Student Affairs of UTAR Sungai Long Campus and co-organised by JC Sports. The competition had two categories: team events for male and female of IPTA & IPTS students and mixed team events for Open Secondary schools. There were 15 teams for the IPTA & IPTS Men’s Team, nine teams for the IPTA & IPTS Women’s Team and six teams for the Open Secondary School Team.

The 15 teams from IPTA & IPTS Men’s Team included participants from Asia Pacific University (APU), Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Ismail Petra (KIAS), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Business School, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Universiti Tenaga Nasional Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (UNITEN KSHAS) Team A & B, Sunway University, Multimedia University (MMU), Universiti Malaya (UM), International Islamic University Malaysia (UIAM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN),  Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Team A & B.

The nine teams for IPTA & IPTS Women’s Team consisted of participants from Asia Pacific University (APU), Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Business School, Universiti Tenaga Nasional Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (UNITEN KSHAS), Sunway University, Multimedia University (MMU), Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Team A & B.

Finally, the six Open Secondary School Teams consisted of participants from Tsun Jin High School Team A & B, Chung Hua High School Team A & B, KC Table Titans and Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Confucian.
