UTAR is pleased to announce that four students were selected to participate
in the Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) 2024 from 8 to 12 January 2024
at the Stephen Riady Centre, National University of Singapore.
The four students, Yap Kiao Huio from the Faculty of Science, and three
students from the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science who are
Yau Zhi Yong, Liew Son Qian and Tan Jing Jie. The students will join the Young Scientists Presentations segment to present a
15-min live presentation of their work to a live audience. They will also
participate in a poster presentation session to
showcase their research.
UTAR wishes them all the best in their participation at the Global Young
Scientists Summit 2024.
At the summit, participants will be given opportunity to enjoy a 1-day site
visit to a pre-selected research institution in Singapore, and participate
in a 1-hour group session with a pre-selected speaker. There will also be
plenary lectures and panel discussions
