UTAR students won in National Sport Games Medics Intervarsity Games (MIVG) 2023

National Sport Games Medics Intervarsity Games (MIVG) 2023 was held from 6 to 8 October 2023, by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), at UPM Serdang Sports Centre and Uptown Sports Bangi.

The MIVG is an annual intervarsity sports event under Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) Malaysia. This sports tournament was initiated in year 2009, with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle among medical students. It also aimed to promote and foster intervarsity relations across medical schools in Malaysia.

Nine representatives from M. Kandiah Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (MK FMHS) participated in the tournament. The sports included were, Badminton (Men Singles, Women Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Men Doubles), Track & Field (Female category - 400m, 800m, and 1500m), Swimming (Female category - Butterfly and Freestyle races over 50 meters), and Table Tennis (Women Singles and Mixed Doubles). These competitions provided a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for our participants to showcase their talents and sportsmanship.
