In a bid to cultivate environmental awareness among the younger generation, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) recently organised the TNB Reimagining the Future: Better Energy Visualised by Our Future Generation competition. Held from 6 to 20 January 2024, at the Leo Moggie Convention Centre, TNB Platinum, the event aimed to engage students in sustainability workshops and foster innovative thinking towards a net-zero future.

Two teams from UTAR participated in the competition. The first team consisted of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours students Chong Kai Wen, Ng Kai Wei and Kok Lek Cheng, and Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering with Honours student Ong Li Kang. The second team consisted of Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering student Tang Hiew Muun, Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering with Honours student Wee Jia Jia, Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours student Damon Lim Ching Ann, and Bachelor of Materials Engineering with Honours student Tan Ken Sean.
