AutoCount recognises UTAR as Excellent Education Partner

The AutoCount Education Conference (AEC) 2024 was held on 1 December 2024 at the Dorsett Hotel Putrajaya. In anticipation of the conference, AutoCount Education Appreciation & Award Night was held on 30 November 2024 at the same venue, honouring excellence in educational partnerships. Puan Nuraishah binti Raimee from the Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM), Sungai Long Campus, and Puan Azni Suhaily binti Samsuri from the Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF), Kampar Campus, was presented with the 2023 Excellent Education Partner Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication. Representing UTAR, Ms Low Suet Cheng and Pn Zulnurhaini binti Zolkaply accepted the awards for the Sungai Long and Kampar campuses, respectively.

Since 2021, UTAR’s FAM and FBF faculties from both campuses have been recipients of the AutoCount Education Partner Award from Auto Count Sdn Bhd. UTAR was selected from among various public and private institutions for its exceptional performance, significant contributions, and steadfast support of Auto Count Sdn Bhd.

The event brought together industry leaders and educators to present innovative tools, including AutoCount Cloud Accounting and AutoCount E-Invoicing, aimed at addressing contemporary educational needs. A panel discussion addressed the employability challenges faced by accountants in Malaysia, emphasising strategies to enhance graduates’ preparedness for the evolving job market. Experts provided insights on bridging the skills gap and the importance of adopting technological advancements in accounting practices.
