UTAR awarded Gold Award at Putra Aria Brand Awards 2023

UTAR was awarded the Gold Award at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2023 under the Education and Learning category. UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min was present at the ceremony to receive the award on 18 January 2024 at The Imperial Ballroom, One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. 

The Putra Aria Brand Awards was established in 2022 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to efficiently and inclusively serve the marketing fraternity by highlighting branding efforts across all segments. Measured by consumer preference growth, the organisation aims to recognise brands’ excellence within the marketing and advertising landscape.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards, one of two accolades endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) as its Brand Champion Partner and supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA), and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), recently concluded its 2023 edition. Facilitated by the 4As, the awards received more than 11,000 voluntary voters from all corners of Malaysia, participating in the selection of the top three preferred brands in each of the 24 categories. This extensive engagement was achieved through an 8-week survey conducted via 60 websites, radio, and newspaper media platforms, taking place from September to October 2023.
