This climb reflects UTAR’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, particularly in areas like Employer Reputation, Citations per Paper, and International Research Network, all of which showed substantial improvement in the score.

In a further testament to its growing impact, UTAR now stands at #29 in the QS World University Rankings by Region: South-Eastern Asia 2025, advancing by 9 ranks from last year. This progress underscores UTAR’s dedication to continuous growth and strengthening its role in the higher education landscape.

This year’s edition of QS World University Rankings: Asia included 25 locations in Asia with 984 published institutions.
