SME ICON Award 2025 presented to LKC FES academic

In a notable recognition of academic leadership and industry contribution, Ir Ts Dr Wong Chee Fui was awarded the SME ICON Award 2025 by the Malaysian Service Provider Confederation (MSPC). The award ceremony was held during the ASEAN International Fair for Trade in Services (AIFTIS) Gala Dinner at Menara MATRADE, Kuala Lumpur, on 18 November 2025.

Representing the Department of Civil Engineering at the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES), Dr Wong was acknowledged for his leadership and continued contributions to the Malaysian services sector, industry development, and community engagement. The award was presented by Dato’ Sri Zohari Hj Akop, President of MSPC, and Ts Ir Choo Kok Beng, Chief Executive Officer of MSPC.

This recognition is not conferred through competition but rather a nomination-based recognition, highlighting prominent individuals who have demonstrated excellence and impact across sectors.
