The award was presented for their invention titled Smart Exam Analytical System (SEAS) in the Education category under the Professional classification. The competition was held virtually, and the results were announced on 23 May 2025 via the official IVCCII platform.
Organised annually, the IVCCII provides a global stage for professionals, academics, and students from various educational and vocational backgrounds to showcase their creative solutions and innovative ideas. Participants submitted a five-minute video and an extended abstract to present their projects, which were evaluated based on criteria such as novelty, societal impact, commercial potential, and professional presentation.
Dr Kaur said, “I joined the competition to meet other innovators, share my work, and learn from theirs. Winning this award is a meaningful recognition of my research. It motivates me to further explore this area and contributes to both UTAR and the Centre for Research on Non-Communicable Diseases (CRNCD).”
The Smart Exam Analytical System offers an innovative approach to evaluating student performance by integrating analytical tools to provide detailed feedback and insights for continuous improvement in the educational process.
The IVCCII 2025 featured six participation categories, ranging from primary school students to professional inventors, and aimed to support economic growth and social progress by fostering collaboration among academia, industry, and government sectors.
