Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)'s Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Dr. Wong Wun Bin has co-authored a Chinese book titled, ' Honourable Achievement, Conscientious Governance, and Honest Humanity: Ong Ka Ting's Life in Politics'. The book was launched on 17 July 2009 at Popular Book Store, Ikano Power Centre, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The book launch was officiated by UTAR President Ir. Professor Dato' Dr. Chuah Hean Teik. Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting and his family were also present to witness the ceremony.

The book featured a detailed chronology on Tan Sri Ong's political life including his contributions towards the Chinese community, his party and the nation especially in promoting education through lifelong learning.

Readers of this book would have the opportunity to sneak a peek on the personal encounters of the former President of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) , including the challenges he has faced from the beginning of his political involvements right until he became the MCA President.

Dr. Wong shared, "While preparing for this book, I managed to interview many youths from the MCA and also Tan Sri Ong himself."

According to Dr. Wong, he found Tan Sri Ong to be a good example to the community and also to many inspiring politicians. He said, "Tan Sri Ong places much importance in honouring humanity, while emphasising on a political leader's need to be 'clean' and hardworking. Apart from that, he also acknowledges the need for politicians to possess good moral values while being fully committed to serving the community."
