Dr Yap and LKC FES Deputy Dean for Student Development and Industrial
Training Dr Lai Soon Onn apprised the members of the faculties’ latest
updates, followed by an overview of FEGT and LKC FES’s current programmes.
To further spur productive discussions, the 12 IAP members were then divided
into four groups with each joining a discussion group arranged according to
departments and programmes sharing similarities. Impressed by the faculties’
dedication and commitment in constantly improving the programmes to groom
competent, all rounded graduates, the IAP members suggested the faculties to
work closely with the industries to open doors of opportunities, and at the
same time, allowing the industries to learn about UTAR’s potential.
