The Institution of
Engineers Malaysia’s (IEM) Electrical Engineering Technical Division (EETD)
paid a visit to Sungai Long Campus on 13 May 2016. This visit aimed at
exchanging ideas and knowledge among UTAR and IEM staff.
Prof Lee stressing the importance of
collaborating with industry partners
“This visit will enable us
to build stronger ties for future collaborations with IEM,” said UTAR
Vice-President for R&D and Commercialisation Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei. He also
said collaborations with industry partners would make programmes in the
university to be moreindustry relevant.
The visit also featured
presentations from Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC
FES) lecturers, laboratory visits, and robotics demonstrations.
This visit was organised
by the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science.
