Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM) organised six-day inbound
activities for ten students from Tunghai University on 22 October 2017.
The inbound activities were co-organised with Tunghai University Center
for Healing Environment Administration and Research (HEAR) and Office of
International Education and Programs (OIEP).
Tunghai University students attended classes with UTAR students and got
a chance to experience UTAR students’ life. They also attended the
“Business Connection 2017” in UTAR. They interviewed with the Malaysian
companies and exchanged views with the UTAR students. They also worked
as an intern in a few companies for a short-term and used the “Design
Thinking” and “Experiential Learning” to work out a practical solution
for companies, such as NHF, KHIND, TOMEI, TAN KIM HOCK and ARB
Worldwide.
OIEP Program Specialist James Tsai thanked UTAR for the warm reception
and said, “I truly enjoyed the activities organised by the FAM and I
believe our students enjoyed their precious time in Malaysia too. These
activities also enhanced our knowledge on the business development of
Malaysia and ASEAN countries. On behalf of Tunghai University, I
sincerely invite UTARians to pay a visit to Tunghai University in the
near future.”
