It also aimed to discuss possible cooperation in the future in terms of student exchange, study tour and internship programme. Also, it aimed to build rapport and promote mutual understanding between UTAR and CSMU.

Prof Tsai

Prof Tsai said, “Language is not a problem. It would be our pleasure if we could collaborate with UTAR on long and short-term internship and student exchange for Medical Imaging programme, Physiotherapy programme and many more. We could also have a mutual sharing teaching experience between lecturers for Inter-professional education (IPE) or Project-based learning (PBL). On top of that, I am also looking forward to launching new or jointed research projects in the future such as Speech Language Therapy. It will be great if we could send our students to UTAR to join the community service programme.” Meanwhile, he also extended his invitation to attend Taichung World Flora Exposition, Taiwan which will end on April 2019.

Emeritus Prof Cheong

Emeritus Prof Cheong expressed his anticipation of exploring further collaboration with CSMU and said, “It would be good if we could arrange internship programmes and students exchange programmes to broaden up their horizon and experiences. Not only students, but I believe our lecturers would also be interested in the Medical Imaging programme offered by CSMU and a visit to e-hospital in CSMU as well.”

A souvenir exchange session between Prof Cheong and Prof Tsai took place. It was followed by a group photography session before the meeting ended.
