Hundreds of UTAR staff and students made their way out of the Sungai Long Campus to ‘escape’ from a fire emergency on 24 September 2018. Held once every year, the alarm for the fire drill set off around 2.30 pm. The drill that involved everyone in UTAR and the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia was done to ensure UTAR staff and students are well prepared for any emergency such as fire breakout.
