Celebrating independence and diversity

Audience rooting for their favourite singing contenders

The unity and diversity of Malaysia were celebrated during “Patriotisme Day 2018” at Sungai Long Campus on 20 August 2018. Organised by the Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI), the event saw various arts and performance, cherishing the unity of multicultural society in UTAR.

The celebration drew its curtain with a lively performance by Faculty of Arts and Social Science lecturer Mohd Yusof bin Zulkefli singing a song titled Kurik Kundi. Yusof was previously the champion of Bulan Patriotisme 2017 singing competition for soloist category. This year, three competitors from both soloist and group category contended for the Patriotic Singing Competition champion title.
