Prof Choong welcoming the alumni to celebrate their success together
Prof Choong welcomed the alumni and said, “I understand that you were presented with information about our Master and PhD programmes in Chinese Medicine and Medical Science. I personally believe UTAR can provide the best pathway for you to pursue postgraduate studies and to elevate your career prospects. Our FMHS faculty staff are among the best in the private education industry and our collaborations with overseas universities promote exchange of knowledge and professional practices globally. Our Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) links with Chinese universities provide student industry experience and training. Very soon we will have our own hospital that will provide clinical training for our students while attracting medical talents from the region. The expansion plans for the FMHS are exciting and we look forward to our alumni’s support in our new hospital in the years ahead. As graduates of UTAR who have set foot in the industry, I believe your opinion and feedback are welcome to keep us updated on the changes we need to make to meet the fast-changing industry demands,” said Prof Choong.
He then continued, “I hope you will be an inspiration to those around you, especially your juniors on campus. Do stay connected with us through DARP, as we are always eager to hear from you.”
