UTAR ranked Top 600 in THE World University Rankings 2019

In the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2019, UTAR maintained its ranking within the 501-600 band, making it the second highest-ranked institution in Malaysia after Universiti Malaya (UM).

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings table lists more than 1,250 higher education institutions from 86 countries and UTAR is indeed happy to be among the Top 600. Thirteen performance indicators are used to assess research universities across their core activities including teaching, internationalisation, knowledge transfer, research and citation.
