More than 2,000 students and staff were involved in the annual fire drill exercise held at UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 25 June 2019. The drill was conducted to ensure that the students and staff alike are able to evacuate the campus compound in time and in an orderly manner. The drill was conducted by the Department of Safety and Security with the guide from the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia. According to the Fire and Rescue Department, the performance this year was better than the previous years.
