Malaysia-Indonesia collaborative ties

Delegates from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia paid a visit to UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 4 September 2019. The visit aimed to seek possible collaboration in multiple areas while forging closer ties for future research collaboration.

UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat welcomed the delegates along with Division of Community and International Networking (DCInternet) Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, DCInternet Deputy Director Dr Chen I-Chi, Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM) Dean Dr Sia Bee Chuan, FAM Head of PhD and MPhil Programmes Dr Cham Tat Huei, FAM Head of MBA in Building Management Programme Amalina binti Azmi, Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI) lecturer Dr Nor Azlili binti Hassan, FCI lecturer Dr D.S. Charanjit Kaur, Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Research Director Assoc Prof Dr Yong Thian Khok, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Deputy Dean Prof Dr Alan Ong Hen Kiat, Faculty of Business and Finance Dean Dr Au Yong Hui Nee and Prof Dr Eng Yoke Kee.

Universitas Airlangga was represented by Publication and Community Services Vice Rector for Research Prof Ir Dr Moch Amin Alamsjah, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Vice Dean for Research, Partnership, Publication and Community Services Prof Dr Myrtati Dyah Artaria, Faculty of Economics and Business Vice Dean for Research, Partnership, Publication and Community Services Dr Nisful Laila, Faculty of Economics and Business lecturer SE. MT Febriana Wurjaningrum, Faculty of Humanities lecturers Retno Wulandari Setyaningsih, Moses Glorino Rumambo Pandin, Dr Mery Indri Hapsari and Nining Islamiya.

During the visit, both parties discussed to collaborate in the areas of joint research and sharing of knowledge, students and staff exchange, student clinical posting as well as joint conference.

The visit was followed by a souvenir presentation and a group photography session.
