UTAR Complying with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standard

A surveillance audit of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems certification for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) and the Division of Finance (DFN) was held on 18 and 19 March 2021 at the Sungai Long Campus. The surveillance audit was administered by SIRIM to ensure that the University complies with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standard.

Present to administer the audit was SIRIM Lead Auditor Puan Asiyah binti Haron. She was received by Division of Strategy Planning, Performance Monitoring and Audit (DSPA) Director Tan Enk Purn, FMHS Department of Pre-clinical Sciences Head Dr Ong Hooi Tin, DSPA Manager Ooi Shu Har and DFN Senior Assistant Managers Dhen Siew Ping and Wu Mei Lai.

During the audit, several evaluation such as reviewing of documentation against requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and reviewing of actions taken on nonconformities identified during the previous audit were conducted.
