GHHS
Chinese Medical Centre, UTAR and Malaysian Chinese Medical Society of
Epidemic Control and Prevention (CMEC) jointly worked together to provide
free herbal drinks for 500 COVID-19 patients and people who had close
	contacts in Klang Valley.
	Since the
outbreak of the pandemic, UTAR Department of Chinese Medicine staff and
alumni have been actively participating in the efforts of fighting COVID-19
with Chinese medicine. With the sponsorship and support of the GHHS Chinese
Medical Centre as well as enthusiastic individuals and institutions, CMEC
provided free herbal drinks and traditional Chinese medicine services to
more than 1,000 people, including not less than 200 COVID-19 patients, 100
COVID-19 discharged patients and 100 medical staff. CMEC consists of dozens
of professional Chinese medicine practitioners supporting the efforts of
	fighting COVID-19 with Chinese medicine.
