500 free herbal drinks for COVID-19 patients and close contacts

GHHS Chinese Medical Centre, UTAR and Malaysian Chinese Medical Society of Epidemic Control and Prevention (CMEC) jointly worked together to provide free herbal drinks for 500 COVID-19 patients and people who had close contacts in Klang Valley.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, UTAR Department of Chinese Medicine staff and alumni have been actively participating in the efforts of fighting COVID-19 with Chinese medicine. With the sponsorship and support of the GHHS Chinese Medical Centre as well as enthusiastic individuals and institutions, CMEC provided free herbal drinks and traditional Chinese medicine services to more than 1,000 people, including not less than 200 COVID-19 patients, 100 COVID-19 discharged patients and 100 medical staff. CMEC consists of dozens of professional Chinese medicine practitioners supporting the efforts of fighting COVID-19 with Chinese medicine.
