MBBS showcases hidden talents

Participants and fellow MBBS students, lecturers and staff enjoying the event

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. With talents in singing, playing instruments and dancing, UTAR Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students proved they have more than medical knowledge and surgical skills to offer. The hidden talents were showcased at the e-Talentime Competition held exclusively for MBBS students on 10 September 2021. The competition provided a platform for the students to have fun while winning some cash prizes.

“We want MBBS students to participate in this fun competition. This will be done every year for them to ease up from their studies. All performed well. We are proud that they do not only have medical knowledge but also soft skills and stage skills. Wonderful performances and secret talents, at last, seen and exposed. Congratulations, tahniah, 恭喜,” said Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Prof Dr Jenny Parameshvara Deva during the event.
