Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) can help one to spot and change
negative thought patterns and behaviours to achieve desired outcomes. In the
workshop "Unleash the Unexplored: Ignite the Inner Change with NLP", Deepak
Chhabra shared some NLP techniques with participants and taught them how to
understand their mindset and
filter the
information around them. The workshop was conducted via Zoom on 28 August
2021.
Deepak Chhabra is working as an Assistant Professor at Rukmini Devi
Institute of Advanced
Studies. He has been
associated with the institute since 2017. He is also a certified
Neuro-Linguistic Programming [NLP] Practitioner from the Academy of Modern
Applied Psychology, Scotland, UK, and takes interest in designing
Industry-centric training programmes and mentorship modules. He has been
invited as a resource person at various institutes of repute to deliver
workshops and motivational sessions. Recently, he has also delivered
management development programmes for the corporate world.

“Every single day, life is happening to us. Every one of us is
trying to move forward,” said Deepak. He mentioned that people often see
life as a race and often see the need to run fast to avoid being left
behind. “You are conditioned in a way,” he said. He mentioned that stopping
self-questioning would not go beyond the limit and boundary, instead, people
should review their beliefs and examine the actions they take as a result of
them.
He mentioned that a limited mindset would limit one to realise
their full potential. He shared a way to make a shift in mindset, which was
to change the mindset from “what’s if” to something constructive. He advised
the participants to ask themselves discomforting questions and to recognise
what they are experiencing and pay close attention to their internal
dialogue. He further shared some ways that could help the participants take
control of thoughts and beliefs as well as
facilitate the
achievement of a fulfilling life.
Before the end of the
online workshop,
an interactive Q&A session
was conducted and then it followed by
a photography session.
