Suresh wishing everyone Happy Malaysia Day

Recognising the efforts made by the organisers and participants which showed the spirit of “Happy Malaysia Day”, APU Advisor-cum-Sekretariat Rukun Negara Suresh S Saminathan said, “Happy Malaysia Day! This is the day that brought the east and west together. Our family of Malaysians became much more multicultural, multi-ethnic and added great diversity to Malaysia on this day. I represent a generation that is towards the upper echelon of our life and you represent the younger generation who will continue carrying the torch of Malaysia and all the effort that you are doing will inspire the younger generation who looks up to you to mould Malaysia into what we want Malaysia to be. It is timely on this day that we would remember why we became a nation, why all of us discarded our ethnicity, our religious affiliation and our languages to identify ourselves as Malaysians because together we are strong, together we make miracles happen. This is the message that we want to instil in the hearts of every young Malaysian because now it is your time to carve what Malaysia should do in the third decade and onwards of the 21st century.”
