Majlis Sukan IPTS Malaysia (MASISWA) organised the “Networking Games 2022”
under Kejohanan MASISWA for private higher learning institutions (IPTS)
staff on 25 and 26 November 2022. The Department of Sungai Long Campus sent
a team of 11 staff from various departments for the futsal tournament at
Sports Arena Futsal Court UNITEN Bangi.
More than 29 teams from other private higher learning institutions
participated in the tournament. UTAR team obtained champion for the group
stage with a total collection of seven points and made it to the
quarter-finals. UTAR team expressed, “It was an honourable moment to
represent UTAR in the tournament and it was a great experience for us to
play together and forge a closer relationship between staff from various
departments. We will perform better in future tournaments.”
