UTAR welcomed the delegates from Geely Talent Development Group, China on 8 December 2022 at Sungai Long Campus.

The meeting was held to discuss collaboration between both parties in the areas of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) Programme and MOOC course material; exchanging MOOC videos and conducting postgraduate programmes, joint forums, workshops as well as guest talks to benefit students and staff from both parties.

Previously, UTAR and the University of Sanya have collaborated in many areas including webinars, joint forums, research collaboration and inbound student mobility programmes. Apart from that, the MoU between UTAR and the University of Sanya was renewed in December 2021.
