Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd visits UTAR

Delegates from Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd visited UTAR Kampar Campus on 05 May 2022. The delegates from Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd were its Founder & Vice Chairman Sun Jian Wei, Secretary-General of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association (MJEBA) Sun Ke Qiang, Managing partner of Pebbles Partner Capital Choo Ewe Chuen, Assistant Lewis and Personal Assistant Ng Jia Hui.

Welcoming the delegates on behalf of UTAR were UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations Prof Dr Choong Chee Keong, Unovate Centre Head of Department Dr Lee Sheng Chyan, Department of Soft Skills Competency Head (DSSC) Hee Chwen Yee, Chairperson of Centre for Chinese Studies Assoc Prof Dr Wong Wun Bin, DSSC Senior Assistant Manager Lee Sie Yun and Unovate Centre Assistant Manager Neoh Shi Yii.



In the mid of the meeting

To understand more about UTAR’s New Village Community Project, the meeting started with an introductory session on UTAR Unovate Centre by Dr Lee who emphasised on its services, facilities and initiative to foster an entrepreneurial culture in the campus. It was then followed by the introduction to the new village community project by Hee.

During the meeting, Sun Jian Wei elucidated that their focuses were both on potential new villages and new villages which are yet to be developed. He added that Fullrich Sdn Bhd might provide financial and mentoring support for the new village community project. Apart from that, both parties also discussed some possible areas of collaboration. The discussion also included a proposition to sign a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Fullrich Sdn Bhd in future.

The discussion later progressed to the presentation of souvenirs and a group photograph. It was then followed by campus and UTAR Hospital tours where the delegates were given a glimpse of the facilities offered at UTAR and UTAR Hospital. The visit came to an end with a wrap-up session followed by lunch at the Restoran Hakka Tin Road and an introductory session on I Culture by Dr Wong.
