UTAR Sungai Long Campus received visitors from Sasbadi Sdn Bhd on 19 July 2022.

The visitors were Sasbadi Sdn Bhd Cambridge Linguaskill agents Anis Nadira and Nor Athirah. They were cordially received by Director of Centre for Extension Education (CEE) Ir Dr Lim Jee Hock, CEE Head of Business Development and Administration & Operation Unit Joleena Chong binti Mohamad Chong; CEE English Instructors Aaron Victor Dass, K. Kalai Mathi, P. Parameswari and administrative staff Muhamad Syafiq bin Kamarolzaman.

UTAR has been the referral agent for the Cambridge Linguaskill, a customisable institutional test that is used globally by employers, schools and universities to assess English language proficiency standards of learners and users, since January 2021. The test is officially recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). Malaysian and international students may sit for either Cambridge Linguaskill, IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE, or MUET as their official university admissions English test.

A short meeting was held to discuss opportunities for future collaboration between UTAR and Sasbadi Sdn Bhd. It was a fruitful session as many ideas and plans were discussed. Anis also took the opportunity to thank UTAR for being an active referral agent since the collaboration. The meeting ended successfully with a souvenir presentation and a campus tour.
