A group of delegates from Dialog Corporate Sdn Bhd
paid a visit to Sungai Long Campus on 27 May 2022. The delegates consisted
of Dialog Group Berhad Executive Chairman Tan Sri Dr Ngau Boon Keat, Dialog
Group Berhad Executive Deputy Chairman Ir Chan Yew Kai, Dialog Group Berhad
Petrochemicals Business Director Soo Siew Yee and Dialog Group Berhad
Petrochemicals Senior Project Engineer Ooi San Nee.

meeting via Microsoft Teams.

The visit aimed to build rapport and promote mutual
understanding between UTAR and Dialog Corporate Sdn Bhd. It also aimed to
discuss opportunities for future collaboration between both parties.
The meeting commenced with the presentation of the UTAR corporate video to
enhance the delegates’ understanding of the overall development of the
University. A presentation session was also held. It saw Prof Ng and
Dr Yap sharing detailed information about FEGT and LKC FES respectively.

Moreover, an in-depth discussion was carried out between the two parties
regarding possible collaborations which included setting up of research
laboratory, internships and recruitments for UTAR students as well as joint
research in the area of petrochemical, green technology, recycling of waste
and recycling of plastics.
The event ended with a souvenir presentation, followed by a campus tour led
by Prof Ewe and Prof Goi.
