More than 300 participants took part in the UTAR Colour Run 2022 held at UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 19 June 2022.
Organised by UTAR Department of Student Affairs of Sungai Long Campus, the 5km run aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle among UTAR students as well as foster community engagement. The sponsor for the UTAR Colour Run 2022 was CJ Century Logistics Holdings Berhad.
UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat officiated the opening ceremony of UTAR 20th Anniversary Celebration: UTAR Turns 20 - UTAR Colour Run 2022 by throwing coloured powders on a plain backdrop. It was continued by UTAR Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations Prof Dr Choong Chee Keong and Head of Department of Student Affairs (Sungai Long Campus) Loh Nyuk Leung.

Participants were showered with red, green, pink, blue, and yellow coloured powders as they dashed to the stations placed throughout the 5.0 km stretch at Bandar Sungai Long.

The run ended with an entertaining dance performance by students, singing performance and a lion dance performance. It was a memorable day of fun, laughter and colour.
