UTAR Career Day 2022

With the goal to provide UTAR students and graduates with the best job opportunities, the Department of Alumni Relations and Placement (DARP) successfully organised Career Day 2022 on 22 March 2022 at Sungai Long Campus.

A total of 38 companies participated in the UTAR Career Day. The companies include Aspiro Sdn Bhd, Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd, Amg Financing, Ays Ventures Bhd, Ase Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd, Baosteel Malaysia, Cheng Hua Engineering Works Sdn Bhd, China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd, Cr Sea (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Equator Engineering Sdn Bhd, Elite Quantum, Finpreneur Consultancy, Great Eastern Life, GS Paperboard & Packaging Sdn Bhd, Great Eastern Life Malaysia (GELM), GV Mortgage Advisory Sdn Bhd, Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Bhd, Hon Chuan Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Infinity PG Management, Inventech, IPG Mediabrands, Jone Mowic Sdn Bhd, Keyence (M) Sdn Bhd, LFP Solution Consultancy, MasterwealthFA Advisory Sdn Bhd, OCBC Bank, Shimano Components (M) Sdn Bhd, Syswell Automation Sdn Bhd and Sixbase Holdings.

Mechatronics Engineering students Chow Leong Sin and They Shao Peng said that the exhibition helped them to increase their understanding of workplaces and their future career plans.

“This exhibition brought several companies together. This will help me find the direction that best suits me more efficiently,” said They.

“Most of the position is associated with the department of engineering and accounting. I hope to see more companies from other fields in the future. This would give students and alumni more options to choose their career,” said Chow.
