383 players partake in UTAR Sports Carnival 2022

The UTAR Sports Carnival is an annual sports event, held in various venues around the Sungai Long area and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT) Setapak Campus. Besides students, UTAR staff and alumni were also invited to participate in some of the games. Held from 5 March to 3 April 2022, the main objective of the sports carnival was to promote and foster goodwill and understanding between students, staff and alumni.

The one-month carnival also aimed to encourage members of the UTAR community to participate in sporting and physical recreational activities. In addition, the sports carnival served as a platform for the University to select athletes to represent UTAR for upcoming external sports events such as MASISWA Games, external invitations, Sports Exchange Programme, Clash of the UTARians and SUKIPT games in August 2022.

The UTAR Sports Carnival was the first physical sports event organised by the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) with the integration of E-sports games after two years of being in the pandemic phase.
