Five teams from UTAR Sungai Long Campus went head
to head with teams from UTAR Kampar Campus on 9 April 2022 at the Grand
Kampar Sports Complex in Kampar, Perak. The friendly matches aimed to allow
the teams to get to know each other while the Sports & Recreation Unit from
the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) identifies strong players to
represent UTAR for the upcoming competitions.
Despite being new players mostly, DSA Ganavenoth
Karunakaran found that they performed well with room for improvement, “They
were fully committed to the games. This friendly match is good exposure for
them to improve their physical, technical, tactical and psychological
skills. Most of the players need to improve and train more to perform well
in the future.”
