Entrepreneuship students showcase their ideas at EMC Market

The Entrepreneurship & Management Market (EMC Market) took place from 5 to 7 September 2022 at the Multipurpose Hall of UTAR Sungai Long Campus. The market was jointly organised by UTAR Entrepreneurship and Management Club, along with UTAR Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM), and UTAR Unovate Centre. The objective of the EMC Market was to foster an entrepreneurial culture in the campus and provide a platform for student entrepreneurs to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

Forty-three booths, selling a variety of products, were featured at the three-day event. Other items such as beverages, clothing, stationery, soap, perfumes, beauty face masks, test kits, homemade brownies, cookies, electric lunch boxes, knit knots and skin care products were also put on sale. The event included several activities such as the Rock Stage for students who wished to perform on stage, Love Magic where participants can exchange a postcard with their partner, and Postcard Stamp Challenge for students to take on challenges in exchange for a stamp on the postcard. The attendees were also given a chance to join a lucky draw session. Finally, student performances like dancing and singing were organised to further enliven the market.
