UTAR Hospital received donations from The Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar (霹雳金宝福建公会) and The Kampar Literary Association (金宝华商阁) on 6 October 2022 at T&CM Centre, UTAR Hospital, Kampar.

Representing Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar to present the cheque worth RM10,000 to UTAR was its President Lim Seong Chew (林上秋). Meanwhile, on behalf of The Kampar Literary Association, another cheque worth RM5,000 was also presented by Lim. Lim, who is also the president of The Kampar Literary Association, was accompanied by Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar Treasurer Ji Jin Jie (纪金杰), Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar General Affairs Liang Zhong Ye (梁钟业) and Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar Youth Section President Looi Kok Weng (雷国荣).

The cheque was received by CEO and Medical Director of UTAR Hospital Prof Dr Lau Hui-Ping. It was witnessed by UTAR Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations Prof Dr Choong Chee Keong, UTAR Council Member Mr Hew Fen Yee and UTAR Hospital Deputy CEO Maria Khong Poh Fong.

Prof Lau expressed his gratitude to The Hokkien Kong Hoey Kampar and The Kampar Literary Association for their support and contribution to the hospital. He added that the donation would greatly benefit the hospital.

The special occasion ended with a group photograph session.
