A group of students from Kuen Cheng High School paid
a visit to UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 8 October 2022. The visit saw a total
of 42 Form Four students from the Science stream participating in a campus
tour as well as talk and workshop sessions. The objectives of the visit were
to develop an interest in science and engineering-related programmes among
the secondary school students and provide them with an opportunity to
experience university life.
The visit kicked off with a group photography
session, followed by a quick campus tour, where the students were able to
see the library and the murals around the campus. From there, they were
given a briefing by Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC
FES) lecturer Dr Goh Choon Hian and a talk by Ts Dr Lee Jer Vui, introducing
them to UTAR and LKC FES programmes.
