UTAR and ICA40 forge closer ties through MoU

Ir Prof Dato’ Ewe and Ir Dr Ng during the exchange of MoU

UTAR and ICA40 Sdn Bhd entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 30 August 2022 at Sungai Long Campus. The MoU was signed by UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat and ICA40 Sdn Bhd Director Ir Dr Ng Kean Eng, and witnessed by UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Ir Prof Dr Goi Bok Min and ICA40 Sdn Bhd Director Ng Kean Thong.

Under the MoU, both parties will initiate joint international collaborative research projects and talent training projects, facilitate academic development exchanges in research and teaching, and participate in seminars, conferences and workshops. Apart from that, UTAR and ICA40 Sdn Bhd will facilitate the student mobility programmes and provide internship opportunities to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Also present at the ceremony were UTAR Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science (LKC FES) Department of Laboratory Management and Safety Administration Head Ts Dr King Yeong Jin, Department of Mechanical and Material Engineering Head Ts Dr Yeo Wei Hong, Dr Low Foon Siang, Division of Community and International Networking Director Assoc Prof Dr Lai Soon Onn, ICA40 Sdn Bhd Kelvin Lee and Jasmine Li.

The MoU exchange ceremony was followed by a discussion and photography session.
