The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) presented a donation of RM118,000 to the UTAR Education Foundation for the UTAR Hospital on 24 September 2022. The mock cheque was presented at the UTAR Hospital Charity Golf Meet hosted by UTAR Sungai Long Campus at Sungai Long Golf & Country Club, Kajang, Selangor.

Present at the event were KLSCCCI members Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, Dato’ Tan Tian Meng, Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang, Mr Foo Kooi Siong, Datuk Wira Lim Chiun Cheong, Mr Tan Kar Peng, Datuk Albert Chiang Heng Kieng, Ms Ho Soo Fong and Mr Soong Wing Hong.

The mock cheque was presented to UTAR Chancellor Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik, who was accompanied by UTAR Education Foundation Board of Trustee Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Sak Cheng Lum, University Council Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Ting Chew Peh, UTAR Hospital Board Chairman and UTAR Council Member Ir Academician Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Chuah Hean Teik, UTAR Council Member Datuk Lim Si Cheng, UTAR Council Member Datuk Lee Leck Cheng, UTAR President Ir Prof Dato’ Dr Ewe Hong Tat and Sungai Long Golf and Country Club Dato’ Sri Ir Yap Chong Lee.
